Dr. Verkerk is Patron of the College of Naturopathic Medicine and Scientific Advisor to the American Association of Health Freedom and the National Health Federation in the US. He has been a pioneer in the fields of environmental protection, chemical-free living, sustainable agriculture and most recently sustainable healthcare. He is an internationally acclaimed expert in agricultural and health sustainability. He provides consultancy services to a wide range of organizations around the world including organic certification bodies. He has regularly acted as an advisor to governments and development agencies around the world.
